Workplace Data Analyst

What are we looking for?

The Workplace & Operations Data Analyst is responsible for utilizing data analysis techniques to gather, validate, and analyze workplace data from global sites and offices, providing insights to inform future strategies. This role involves generating reports, integrating data from multiple sources, and creating dynamic dashboards. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure workplace operations align with organizational goals and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

What will you do? 

• Data Collection & Management:
•  Develop and maintain systems for monitoring facility usage, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in workplace operations and data analytics by researching evolving facilities technology and market trends.
• Analysis & Reporting: 
• Analyze utilization data to identify trends and generate actionable insights through reports and dashboards.
• Report on strategic planning progress against goals, and evaluate effectiveness to enhance cost, efficiency, and quality outcomes
• Extrapolating raw data and creating easy-to-read reports 
• Strategic Support: 
• Provide data-driven recommendations for office space optimization and strategic planning.
• Build rich and dynamic dashboards using out-of-box features, customizations, and visualizations
• Analyze and manage global budget data to track expenditures, forecast needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities for efficient site operations.
• Collaboration: 
• Work with local leads, finance, FP&A,  and cross-functional teams to align data insights with organizational goals.
• Project Management: 
• Lead projects to enhance data collection, and reporting capabilities, and adopt best practices.
• Create quarterly reporting decks and analyze them to support re-forecast submissions and project budgets.
• Oversee the documentation and tracking of all real estate contracts and leases, including costs, termination dates, and other critical data.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: 
• Respond to data requests and support special initiatives with facility-related insights.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in workplace operations or a similar field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with database management and data integration.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling.
• Understanding of workplace operations and facilities management.
• Experience with developing and maintaining information dashboards.
