Senior Manager Engineering

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Leader with a strong background in building cloud-based products using Java technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to implement new features, own the end-to-end development of server-side components, and ensure high-performance and scalable deployments. You will work closely with QA teams to deliver high-quality products and interface with customer-facing teams to implement feature requirements effectively. This role demands a high level of ownership, a strong learning quotient, and meticulous attention to detail.

What will you do?

• Build next-generation cloud-based products using Java technology.
• Actively collaborate with internal teams to implement new and exciting product features.
• Own the end-to-end development of server-side components, from design to deployment.
• Identify performance and scalability requirements and optimize for large deployments.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure high-quality deliverables to customers.
• Interface with customer-facing teams to understand and implement feature requirements.
• What experience or knowledge should you bring?
• 5 to 10 years of experience in core Java development.
• Total 15+ years of Industry Experience.
• Proficiency in Java programming with a deep understanding of the Java language.
• Experience deploying Java-based applications in Jetty or any popular web application server.
• Strong knowledge of algorithm design and data structures.

Advantages:

• Experience in microservices architecture using Spring is desirable.
• Familiarity with database technologies like Elasticsearch is desirable.
• Experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS is Desirable.
• Strong networking fundamentals and sound TCP/IP knowledge is a plus
