What are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer with:

  • Experience: Proficiency in backend development and cloud-native architectures.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to design scalable solutions for high-volume event streams and mitigate security risks in real-time.
  • Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration skills to integrate and enrich data streams.
  • Innovation: A proactive approach to improving systems and driving SentinelOne's growth.

What will you do?

You will play a crucial role in the architecture, design, and implementation of a sophisticated, multi-disciplinary Cloud-native Security software platform. This platform will handle hundreds of millions of events daily through a Kafka pipeline, integrating with various cloud providers. Your responsibilities will include designing and integrating with multiple services to enrich data, enabling real-time detection of misconfigurations and potential security risks.

You will have a significant impact on SentinelOne's growth by contributing to a system that serves thousands of users (security specialists at enterprise & government customers across the globe, incl. at 4 or Fortune10 or hundreds of Global 2000) and ensures robust security across diverse cloud environments.

About the Team:

You will join a global, multidisciplinary team of backend and frontend engineers. We operate in an agile environment using Scrum methodologies, fostering collaboration and innovation to deliver high-quality security solutions.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-regarded university OR equivalent experience from well-renowned companies
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in development using Go (preferred) or Python or Java/C++/other
  • Ability to quickly dive into new products and understand their inner workings
  • Self-driven individual, able to liaison with multiple internal teams and drive end-to-end development efforts
  • Familiarity with AWS or GCP

It would be great if you have experience with /or You’d learn & gain on our team

  • Kafka eco-system (pub/sub, Kafka connect, etc.) - big advantage
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with large-scale management systems and performance

What we offer you

Salary from 4000 EUR/month.
Yearly % bonus depending on the performance of the company, paid out in 2 installments.
*The final base salary component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
