About The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer at Sensi.AI, you will play a vital role in building and developing our core infrastructure. You will be part of our fast-growing R&D team, contributing to the design and implementation of scalable platform services that directly impact the effectiveness of our cutting-edge product. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Serve as a technical focal point for software development best practices and design of key components, services, and systems.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for multiple development projects.
• Research new technologies, create prototypes, and develop them into production functionalities.
• Contribute to server-side development using microservices architecture, applying the latest industry trends.

• Experienced Software Engineer: 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven ability to design and develop high-performance distributed systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Your Playground: Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python or Java, with 3+ years of experience. Passionate about new technologies and data, with a basic background in AI considered a plus. Experience as a data engineer (e.g., Spark, Snowflake) is advantageous.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Expert: Demonstrated experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with build systems and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity). Skilled in containerized environments using Kubernetes and familiar with message queuing systems like SQS or Kafka.  
• Database & Data-Driven: Experience with message queuing systems (SQS/Kafka). Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and analytics databases.
• Continuous Integration & Quality Advocate: Demonstrates attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Collaborative Leader & Communicator: Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills, both English and Hebrew
