General Responsibilities
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Defines project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and status reports
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Regularly communicates and presents project schedules and statuses
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- Collaborate closely with the Business Centre Teams: Bringing ideas and Make Site Requirements to the table as required.
- Project Success advocate for Ops Sites. Timeline, Resources, priority Focus etc.
- Awareness of NPD/Customer Management process, methodology and associated reporting tools.
- Ensure an understanding of deliverables that are required for each project.
- A Critical project status and production readiness controller using facts to support status i.e. SPC data and analysis (Lean, Six Sigma and DFSS Tools) Supplied by support functions. How to understand and interpret to make decisions. (RASIC)
- Ensure projects are executed and completed on time, within budget, with associated cost savings and zero customer impact (Delivery and Quality).
- Understand how the Operations Make Site functions and as a result, how to prepare the site for a new product or process.
- With a critical project focus, effectively use the RED flag escalation process through management to ensure project support if time line slips. Again, with a clear rational for escalation using supporting data.
- Monitor project success through associated KPIs.
