Description

QA Engineers at Sendbird play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our products by conducting thorough testing, collaborating closely with the development team, and implementing automated testing tools. You will help enhance our QA processes, ensure optimal test coverage, and contribute to our software development lifecycle.

 

What you will do

  • Create user-centric test scenarios and test cases.
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases.
  • Record test results for the engineering and PM teams.
  • Enhance QA processes, expand test coverage, and improve testing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and coverage.
  • Implement new tests and tools for our products and contribute to the automation of testing for new features.
  • Collaborate effectively with overseas tester teams to ensure alignment and consistency in testing practices and standards.
  • Manage test equipment and software.
  • Write and update internal team manuals.

Who you are

  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong understanding of Web, iOS, and Android.
  • Practical experience in QA for SaaS products with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for finding issues.
  • Experience developing in Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), or JS (React) for automation purposes. 
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence.
  • Background in an IT-related field or equivalent knowledge.
