Job Description

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Piping Engineer/Specialist to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. This role involves developing, reviewing drawings, providing calculations, and engineering analysis to support design requirements. You will oversee or provide input on piping specifications, procurement deliverables, field piping engineering, and construction for small and medium EPC & EPCM projects throughout all project phases. Effective communication and the ability to manage deadlines and costs are crucial for this position.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Business Development Support:**
- Assist business development activities by maintaining an up-to-date personal profile and resume database.
- Build positive working relationships with external parties such as customers, suppliers, and contractors.

**Technical Competency:**
- Ensure team adherence to accepted piping engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Support the standardization of piping specifications, installation drawings, and document templates.
- Utilize local and global standards (ASME, API, PIP) to support technical excellence.
- Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback effectively.

**Project Execution:**
- Participate in execution strategy and planning for small and medium EPC & EPCM projects.
- Understand project and discipline scope, cost, and time requirements throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success and implement innovative solutions.
- Support the Project Management Team in taking corrective actions regarding issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progress, or other events impacting project completion and profitability.

**Project Deliverables:**
- Prepare and review piping engineering deliverables such as piping material specifications, valve data sheets, piping general specifications, and stress calculations.
- Interface with suppliers and contractors to ensure specifications and project requirements are met.
- Identify technical issues, define alternate solutions, and make recommendations through official project documents.
- Create final documentation and pursue customer approval.

**Procurement Support:**
- Prepare piping RFQ (Requisition for Quotation) and RFP (Requisition for Purchase) packages.
- Participate in bidder evaluations and inter-discipline vendor information reviews.
- Review and authorize work done by direct reports.

**Site Support:**
- Participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews and incorporate requirements into engineering/design.
- Work with site personnel to resolve issues and support construction, testing, commissioning, and operations.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of project piping engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical, and Petrochemical industries.
- Proficiency in 3D Software and piping engineering tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with international standards, norms, and regulations (ASME, API, PIP).
- Experience with BID Management, MTO Estimation, and Project Man-Hour Estimation.
