Java Developer - Stockholm

In our IT department at Segula Technologies, you will have the opportunity to engage in complex problem-solving tasks involving high-tech systems as we embark on new territorial ground in Stockholm. As a consultant, you will work with Java programming, build automated CI/CD pipelines, and develop cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar, for our clients. You will work on customer assignments or participate in team projects, giving you the chance to influence the assignments you take on. Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Programming in Java and developing high-quality code.
• Collaborating effectively within a team and sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
• Providing improvement suggestions for solutions and offering consultative advice to clients.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, electronics, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience as a software developer primarily using Java.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar.
• Proficiency with tools like Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, REST, JSON.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with software verification and test development, including unit testing.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid working permit in Sweden.

Additional Information

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with C++, Python, .NET.
• Experience in the automotive domain.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Angular, React.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, JUnit.
• Adherence to clean coding practices.
• Proficiency in Swedish language is highly desirable.
