Nous recherchons un Ingénieur en Chef Mécanique / Mechanical Lead Engineer (MLE) pour nous rejoindre chez notre client, un acteur global dans le secteur des transports.
- Diriger les activités de développement et d'intégration des installations mécaniques
- Gérer les exigences de conception et garantir leur conformité pour la validation et la certification
- Animer la définition des interfaces, l'attribution des espaces et la conception des pièces d'installation
- Superviser les équipes de conception et favoriser la collaboration
- Appuyer les revues de premier montage des trains et les phases de production
- Participer activement aux initiatives d'amélioration continue au sein du domaine

We are looking for a Mechanical Lead Engineer (MLE) to join our client, a global player in the transportation sector.
- Lead the development and integration of mechanical installations.
- Manage design requirements and ensure compliance for validation and certification.
- Lead the definition of interfaces, space allocation, and installation part design.
- Supervise design teams and promote collaboration.
- Support initial train assembly reviews and production phases.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the field.
Qualifications
- Diplôme BSc/MSc en génie mécanique ou dans un domaine connexe
- Expérience ou compréhension de l'ingénierie mécanique appliquée aux produits ferroviaires
- Connaissance des exigences de conception, des processus de validation et de certification
- Familiarité avec la définition des interfaces, l'attribution des espaces et la conception des pièces d'installation
- Adhésion à l'OIQ, un atout
- Bilingue français et anglais. La connaissance d'une langue autre que le français est un atout pour collaborer avec nos partenaires, fournisseurs, collègues et clients internationaux. Au Québec, le français reste la langue principale de travail au sein de notre entreprise.
- Solides compétences en leadership et en collaboration d'équipe

- BSc/MSc degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience or understanding of mechanical engineering applied to railway products
- Knowledge of design requirements, validation and certification processes
- Familiarity with interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
- OIQ membership is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for collaborating with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language within our company.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
