Job Description

As an Android Platform Developer, you will be implementing features throughout almost all layers of the Android stack for our next-generation infotainment systems based on Google´s Android automotive OS. All the way from HMI and business logic implementation to low-level hardware drivers and communication.

You will use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with partners and other teams to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions. Together with your team, you will take ownership and full responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining high quality production code.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, electronics or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in android software development with Kotlin/Java, Python and C++
• Proven experience in Android platform development along with experience in AOSP and the AOSP build system
• Good understanding of Linux operating system
• Experience with tools such as tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, .
• Knowledge of software verification and test development, unit test
• Experience using techniques for quality assuring software such as unit testing and integration testing using relevant tools e.g. Espresso, jUnit, Mockito, UIAutomator.
• Experience working with MVP, MVVM libraries.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Valid working permit in Sweden

Meritorious

• Experience within Embedded Linux development
• RxJava and Android on top of QNX
• Knowledge of communication protocols
• Experience within automotive
• Experience working with Agile methodology
• Swedish language is highly meritorious
