About the Opportunity: 

We’re looking for a React Engineer to lead our front-end initiatives here at Seekr! We have multiple web sites and mobile apps, and an experienced Engineer to both set technical direction and help build the team from the ground up. You’ll have an opportunity to make a huge impact on delivering Seekr’s search platform to all our users.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience 
  • 3 to 5 years experience with JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, and HTML
  • 3 to 5 years experience with React and a working knowledge of its principals and paradigms, including component, hooks, Next.js, and the React lifecycle
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/React infrastructure, including Node and NPM
  • Experience consuming JSON APIs, and creating lightning-fast web experiences at scale
  • Working knowledge of automated testing principals and practices
  • Working well with back-end and DevOps engineers to create APIs and server deployments
  • Agile principals and practices, like Scrum, CI/CD, Git

The following experience is a plus: 

  • Tailwind, or other CSS framework
