What are we looking to add to our team? 

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in testing SaaS web applications. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in QA, with a solid understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality software products and has experience with automation tools and frameworks. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Test Planning and Design: 
    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SaaS web applications.
    • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies. 
  • Manual Testing: 
    • Conduct thorough manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
    • Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
    • Perform regression testing to verify resolved issues and ensure the stability of the application. 
  • Automation Testing: 
    • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
    • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
    • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and delivery. 
  • Performance and Load Testing: 
    • Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate the scalability and reliability of the SaaS applications.
    • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with the development team to optimize performance. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: 
    • Prepare detailed test reports, including test coverage, test results, and quality metrics.
    • Document and maintain QA processes, best practices, and guidelines. 
  • Collaboration and Communication: 
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of high-quality software releases.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates on testing progress and issues. 

You will be a great match if you have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically testing SaaS web applications. 
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
  • Testing 3rd party integrations where large amount of data is transferred across systems. 
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. 
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git). 
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). 

    • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks. 

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
