We support a healthy and productive work environment whether at home or in the office and looking for a brilliant hands-on Software Development Team Leader to join our distributed team and lead a super talented team

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a distributed team of very talented 5-10 developers
  • Develop performance-sensitive software in an open-source collaborative environment
  • Hands-on development of features (~70% of the time).
  • Grow and coach the team talent
  • Communicate clearly in public email, commit messages, and bug reports



  • At least five years of experience in kernel or server projects
  • Knowledge of C++ 20 
  • A Doer, a leader, a winner, a savvy hands-on coder, highly analytical, a bar raiser, and a team player
  • Experience in directly managing a distributed team is a plus
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related subject is a plus
  • Experience working on database internals is a plus
  • Great 360 collaboration and communication skills
  • Open source development experience is a plus
