About this role
We are looking for a .NET / C# developer who loves building desktop apps for Windows, Mac, and Linux. These apps are the premier tools for our top customers to create Scribes effortlessly.
We use Avalonia UI for cross-platform desktop app development.
You can expect to:
- Build & launch native apps for Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Gain a deep understanding of native desktop API’s for all platforms
- Become expert at implementing user interfaces with Avalonia UI
You could be a great fit if
- You have 2+ years of experience with C#
- You have 1-2+ years of building native desktop apps
- You have 1+ years using Avalonia UI, WPF, or Xamarin Forms
Bonus
- You have experience with Swift and native MacOS APIs
- You’ve worked with desktop media APIs (microphone, camera, screen capture, etc.)
- Experience with Python (Django)
- Startup experience (not required, but we build and move fast!)

Compensation
$140,000-$180,000 USD + equity + benefits

- The EchoJobs positions have been sourced and vetted from the top companies to work for in the US as a software engineer, including LinkedIn and other reputable job sites. - From starting your job search to getting hired, the entire job search process can take us software engineers anywhere between 3-6 months. However, at EchoJobs, we’re striving to shorten this duration by finding the best, newest jobs for you, so you can do less job searching, and more applying.
- We’d recommend checking EchoJobs daily, as we add new jobs to the site each day. Additionally, if you got a chance to read our previous email on “what makes EchoJobs different from any other job search tools,” we also recommended that you set a job alert based on your job filters, so if you get emails on those new jobs, you could be checking more than once per day.
