Key Responsibilities

Own the engineering roadmap, system architecture, and technical direction.
Lead and manage a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, architecture reviews, and technical governance.
Partner with Product and Leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Own end-to-end delivery of key engineering initiatives.
Drive cloud-native development using AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Ensure system reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
Lead critical production incidents and root-cause resolution.
Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve engineering processes.

Required Qualifications

8–12+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role, with at least 2 years working directly on AI/ML-driven products or platforms
Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
Strong expertise in system design, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in Python / Java / Node.js; React experience is a plus.
Strong experience with AWS/GCP, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
