Power System Protection Engineer

As a Senior Protection/Power Systems Engineer in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline

• 5+ years of experience with electrical power systems with a focus in protective relay settings

• Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities

• Willing to travel as needed

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)

Pay Range Data

Project Engineer II $79,400 - $124,000. Project Engineer III $91,100 - $142,700. (etc.) Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
