Como um Engenheiro de Vendas, um típico dia pode incluir:
- Conduzir uma apresentação com clientes explicando os benefícios de uma solução, esclarecendo dúvidas e buscando a concretização da venda;
- Visitas em clientes para fortalecer relacionamento, entender as necessidades e buscar maneiras de atendê-lo cada vez melhor;
- Prospectar novos negócios, traçar estratégias para penetração em mercados e clientes que temos pouco alcance;
- Fazer propostas técnicas e comerciais, discuti-las e negociá-las com a área técnica e a área de compras.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop relationships with SEL customers and channel partners. Recognized as customer’s trusted advisor in partnership with leadership team.
2. Understand the true requirements and objectives of customers. Determine, communicate and deliver the optimal SEL solution that best meets their needs.
3. Maintain strong knowledge of all SEL products and teach customers SEL technology and innovation.
4. Participates in strategic account and regional sales planning processes.
5. Develop, maintain and deliver upon quarterly orders forecasts and sales goals.
6. Collect, analyze and report industry, competitor and customer trends to the greater SEL organization.
7. Work collaboratively to understand and drive the resolution of customer feedbacks and product issues.
8. Liaise between customers, contracts & risk, and accounts receivable to facilitate commercial relationships. Responsible for leading price and commercial negotiations with customers.
9. Utilize business tools to maintain customer relationship information, opportunity tracking and sales activities.
10. Lead in improving marketing, sales, and engineering quality processes.
11. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline (to qualify for Engineer title) or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in technical sales (to qualify for Professional title)
(In Canada: Qualifies for Professional title if no P.E. license)
7 or more years of experience in an electrical engineering or technical sales environment
Demonstrated success growing sales in a territory
Strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions
Ability to travel
Effective and engaging communication skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Fluent in local language and business practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using SEL products
Utility and Industrial industry experience
