SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As an Associate Compliance Engineer, you will work in a state-of-the-art test facility.

As an Associate Compliance Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of product safety standards and requirements.
- Provide basic technical assistance to SEL product groups.
- Create pristine product safety procedures and reports.
- Review test documentation in accordance with ISO 17025 and other quality system and safety standard requirements.
- Perform safety type tests as needed.
- Provide mentorship for Product Compliance and R&D technicians.
This job might be for you if:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of product compliance and engineering practices.
- Experience with common test equipment and testing practices.
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Knowledge of one of more of the following compliance areas: UL, CSA, IEC, CE.

Salary Information
$78,000 - $85,500 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
