What will your role be? 

We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to perform the following activities: 

• Ensure compliance with DO-178C and/or DO-278 objectives and applicable development lifecycle processes.
• Review and monitor requirements definition, allocation, verification, and end-to-end traceability from design through testing.
• Ensure consistency and traceability between requirements, system/software design, verification procedures, and test results.
• Support verification and validation activities, reviewing test evidence and ensuring adequate requirements coverage.
• Monitor engineering documentation and lifecycle deliverables to ensure compliance with project quality processes.
• Use Polarion to manage requirements, traceability matrices, verification status, and associated engineering artefacts.
• Identify process gaps, non-conformities, and traceability issues, supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Qualifiche

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering, or Software Development Assurance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178C and/or DO-278 processes and objectives.
• Practical experience with Polarion for requirements management and traceability.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, verification and validation, and requirements-based testing.
• Experience in aerospace, avionics, or other safety-critical environments is strongly preferred.
