Data Analyst - 1

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our Delivery Operations and Decision Science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, and modeling, and proficiency in either Tableau or Power BI. This role is critical in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive our delivery operations and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI, focusing on usability and performance.
• Create advanced data models and visualizations, utilizing features such as Level of Detail (LOD) expressions in Tableau or DAX in Power BI.
• Collaborate with delivery operations stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility for reporting.
• Utilize SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various sources.
• Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to uncover trends and patterns in delivery operations data.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including AWS S3, into analytics workflows.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders using compelling storytelling techniques and clear visualizations.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining data governance practices within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with broader business objectives.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with a focus on either Tableau or Power BI.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing complex datasets.
• Experience with Python for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery operations or logistics analytics.
• Familiarity with geospatial data and tools like QGIS.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.
• Experience with agile methodologies in a data-driven environment.
