Manager of Software Development (x|f|m) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Manager of Software Development (x|f|m) for our IT Software Development & Innovations department. Are you passionate about leading innovative software development projects and managing a dynamic team? In this role, you will take responsibility for various software development projects, lead a talented team and act as the main point of contact for all colleagues in our developer centre in Spain. Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• Act as the main organizational point of contact for colleagues in our Developer Hub in Spain

• You will lead and supervise a team of qualified professionals dedicated to the development of custom applications

• Promote cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement within your team and act as a coach to each individual

• You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the timely delivery and quality of multiple application development projects

• You will actively contribute to the projects by working with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and help your team translate these into software architecture and designs

• You contribute significantly to the growth and improvement of our developer centre in Spain

What will convince us

• You have a degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable specialization

• This is complemented by several years of proven experience in managing software development teams

• We require solid expertise in software development and architecture, preferably from previous expert roles

• You have experience with agile software development methodologies as well as traditional project setups, demonstrating versatility in managing different types of projects

• You are characterized by your excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex content clearly and comprehensibly

• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to work in a team for effective leadership and collaboration are among your strengths

• Fluency in English rounds off your profile, although knowledge of German is an advantage
