Join Sarla Aviation as a Merch & Apparel Design Intern and bring your creative energy to a team building India's first air taxis. We're not just dreaming of the future — we're designing it, and we want you to help us wear it too.

About Us:

Sarla Aviation is developing next-generation electric air taxis to revolutionize how India commutes. As we shape this new era of urban mobility, our brand increasingly lives on apparel and merchandise — and we want it to look incredible. This is a fashion-and-product role, not a generic graphics seat: you'll own merch and apparel end to end, from designing the artwork that goes on a tee to building the tech packs that tailors and manufacturers actually cut from.

What You'll Do

Design original graphics, prints, and artwork for merchandise — printed tees, hoodies, caps, totes, stickers, and limited-edition drops that carry the Sarla brand
Develop graphics and placements optimized for diﬀerent fabrics, garment types, and print methods (screen print, DTG, embroidery, etc.)
Design original merchandise and apparel — silhouettes, colorways, and full product concepts
Create production-ready tech packs for tailors and manufacturers — cutting specs, pattern details, measurements, stitching notes, and fabric/trim callouts
Collaborate with vendors, printers, and tailors to turn your designs into finished, wearable products
Help define and maintain our brand identity across merch and apparel
Support broader design needs — social media, presentations, and marketing creatives — when called upon
Stay on top of fashion, streetwear, and merch trends, and bring fresh, bold ideas into the mix

What We're Looking For

A budding designer with a genuine passion for fashion, apparel, and merch — and a strong eye for the artwork and prints that go on it — coursework, internships, or strong personal projects all count
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus)
Understanding of how artwork translates to fabric — print methods, placements, and color separations
Familiarity with garment construction, patterns, and tech packs for tailors and manufacturers (or eagerness to learn this fast)
Strong grasp of typography, layout, and color theory
A keen eye for detail and the ability to turn ideas into clean, production-ready outputs
A portfolio showcasing your graphic, print, apparel, or merch work
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on mindset
