Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and business-oriented Data Analyst to join our Digital Channels team in Lisbon, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making across digital products and customer journeys.
This role requires an analytical mindset combined with a deep understanding of business needs, particularly in digital environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities, optimize performance, and enhance customer experience across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, transforming data into actionable insights that support business decisions.
End-to-End Data Management:
Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using tools such as SQL, SAS, and Data Lake environments, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Business & Product Support:
Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders from discovery through to go-tomarket, providing data-driven recommendations to shape product strategies and initiatives.
Dashboarding & Visualization:
Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly dashboards in Power BI, focusing on clarity, usability, and business impact.
Performance & Growth Analysis:
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across digital channels, supporting optimization initiatives aimed at growth and customer engagement.
Customer Experience Focus:
Leverage data to understand customer behavior across digital platforms and identify opportunities to improve user experience and satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with teams including Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of data initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Support stakeholders with insights and recommendations, enabling informed and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Continuous Learning:
Stay up to date with industry trends, data technologies, and best practices in analytics, digital channels, and banking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on generating business insights.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, and Data Lake environments.
- Proven ability to work across the full data lifecycle: extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience in developing dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Experience working in digital environments and/or digital channels is highly valued.
- Experience or strong interest in the banking or fintech sector is a plus.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
