The Decision Science & Analytics team is the primary (GRA) group responsible for decision science analytics and reporting activities for Global Regulatory Affairs. This group works to ensure that GRA has access to state-of-the-art reporting solutions and supports GRA by providing reports, dashboards, and analysis needs, including audits and inspections and other general business needs.
Provide accurate, high-quality reporting and analytics activities for Regulatory data.
Prepares reports and analytics to support report request requirements provided by users.
Provides oversight for the reporting and analytics activities.
Supports internal audits and regulatory inspections by providing analytics from the GRA Veeva Vault RIM or GRDC.
Collaborate and work closely with vendors, Business Process Excellence groups and Digital group to develop the reporting and analytics solutions for GRA.

Main responsibilities:
Lead analysis of system data configuration and models, data definitions and business rules for data objects and fields to develop the best technical and functionally accurate analytic solution (reports and/or dashboards) for requested business needs. Use Regulatory business data knowledge, understanding of system data model(s) and technical skills, analysis requirements and specifications for Regulatory information, reports, and analytics in order to define and develop analytic solutions.
Able to work independently with requestors to refine requirements and specifications to ensure the information provided, and report designs are of high quality and align with information needs.
Work with customers directly to translate regulatory business language to technique language and use technical programming skills, creates reports and/or updates existing reports to meet.
Work closely with Reporting Lead for data analysis and reporting needs as required during audits and inspections, participating in preparation and planning for inspections and audits.
Using formal quality methodology, business and technical knowledge, ensure the quality of information deliverables provided in reports and analytics meet the agreed user requirements and specifications and are of high quality.
Provide report and analytic deliverables to and communicate with requestors to ensure requests have been satisfactorily met. Work with users to resolve any concerns about deliverables. Track and document status of each request, clearly documenting progress of request, and all corresponding needed KPIs and metrics.
Collaborate with the Decision Science & Analytics colleagues, GRA leadership and colleagues, GBUs, regions, affiliates, IA, GPE, GRO, Business Process Excellence group, and the ITS organization on reporting and analytics Capabilities in GRA Systems.
Contribute as a member of the Decision Science & Analytics team, as part of Global Data Submission & Data Operations, and as needed, participate in the various projects that have reporting and analytics requirements.
About you
Experience: Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry and in reporting and analytics functional role with product testing and support skills, a plus.
Soft and technical skills: Strong analytical, synthesis, and visual communication skills with a data mindset. Data engineering skills, a plus.
Expertise in Excel, SQL, VBA and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). R and/or Python scripting skills, a plus.
Strong and proven organizational skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work in a global team environment customer-focused and action-oriented.
Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, processes, and regulations. Experience with a Regulatory Information System (Veeva Vault RIM, preferred).
Ability to work independently with shifting priorities to meet project requirements and to be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
High degree of technical knowledge, reporting capability development, testing, validation, query and report performance enhancing strategies are strongly desired.
Demonstrated experience in analytics (development of complex measures involving various data sources).
Strong communication and stakeholder management experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or engineering.
Languages: Strong English skills (verbal and written), ability to exchange fluently in a global environment.
