As Data and AI Software Engineer Specialist within our OneMesh Platform team, you'll build the software and application layer that connects people to the power of data and AI across Sanofi.

Main responsibilities

• Build full-stack applications and platform services across the OneMesh ecosystem using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python (FastAPI) — from data platform UIs and internal developer tools to AI-powered applications and operational dashboards
• Design and maintain robust APIs (REST and GraphQL) that enable internal teams to discover, manage, and interact with data and AI capabilities, integrating cleanly into broader Sanofi digital products
• Implement AI and GenAI application patterns including LLM APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks, building reusable platform primitives that help other teams build faster and safer
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on OpenShift (Kubernetes) and AWS, following GitOps best practices and contributing to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Champion production-readiness and observability by implementing security controls, audit logging, health checks, metrics dashboards, and alerting to ensure platform services are reliable, debuggable, and operationally sound
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated delivery, while contributing to code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering standards
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams — partnering with data engineers, ML practitioners, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate platform capabilities into polished, user-friendly features

About you

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Proven track record of building software products, backend systems, platform services, or cloud-native applications; experience in internal platform teams, product engineering, or data-driven application development is a strong plus
• Technical skills: Strong command of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Python (FastAPI), Terraform, React, Node.js, and TypeScript; familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS, Bedrock), Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokering, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and GenAI/LLM application patterns is a meaningful advantage 
• Mindset: Versatile and adaptable, with a strong ownership mentality and service-oriented approach; comfortable working across multiple products simultaneously and thriving in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Collaboration: Excellent communicator in English who can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and enjoys working across diverse, cross-functional teams

The salary range for this position is :€49.600,00 - €74.400,00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
