The Digital Project Lead – SAP S/4 Hana is responsible for the SAP rollouts, lifecycle management projects, major Core model releases and new business initiatives in our Global ERP platform called iSHIFT. In addition to that, he/she will define and implement in collaboration with all stakeholders a common project methodology based on Agile methodology across all geographies. As lifecycle projects and major Core model releases are transversal in nature and cannot split across the geographies, he/she will oversee the overall coordination of those initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
In the context of the iSHIFT program, the main duties of the Digital Project Lead are:
In line with the objectives of his/her projects, he/she will ensure the mobilization of his/her team, but also all the Business and Digital network contributing to his/her projects, formalized into a comprehensive workload assessment. He/she will work with contributing teams to convert the workload assessment into an agreed staffing plan.
He/She will strongly lead in transversal management the Business enablement, Solution delivery and Transversal Services team members allocated to his/her projects, ensuring optimized resources allocation and performance.
He/She will ensure the alignment of his/her projects with the parallel Digital initiatives and programs of the group.
He/She will organize and deliver with his/her team and contributors the solution design and all project deliverables under his/her responsibility (scoping, solutions design, implementation in the systems, test plan and scenarios, migration, technical architecture, deploy and hypercare – organized in a comprehensive project plan, including all related documentation).
He/She will organize and build his/her team for detailed design and following project phases and complete all related management tasks (team organization, tasks planning and follow-up, progress and issue reporting, transversal collaboration with other streams). He/She will be also in charge of budget elaboration and follow-up in line with Digital and iSHIFT program budget guidelines and tools.
He/she will manage all reporting of his/her project activities to iSHIFT program management, projects sponsors and stakeholders.
Domain Management
Prepare and present reports for the projects defining action plans, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized and communicated to the Program Management
Define the proejct organization and manage staffing for the projects under his domain.
Planning and general follow-up of schedule, task and resources, capacity planning
Manage team including internal members and external support provided by consulting firms.
Organize work with implementation partner leads, Follow-up on implementation partner resources On- Off-boarding and escalate on Quality issues.
Ensure Solution documentation and capitalization of knowledge, organize within team Knowledge transfer and Upskilling as required, provide inputs and proposals for documentation templates and deliverable formats evolutions.
Be the first point of contact for Scoping studies and new projects and initiatives for Domain
Guide and promote correct usage of Program Tools (JIRA, HPALM, …), leveraging Agile methodology
Organize and lead teams contribution to activities as detailed below
Scoping
Identify with business entities of his/her geographical perimeter or stakeholders the opportunities of rollouts, lifecycle and other business value projects
Lead and deliver scoping studies of those projects
Build workload and cost estimates, and lead approval of those projects
Design of the Solution
With the Business Enablement and Solution delivery teams, lead the design of the solution based on industry best practices, live entities and GBU and Global Support Functions business needs
Lead the completion of all design deliverables defined by the program, based on Agile Methodology
Development and testing
Organize and lead with factories the documentation of the system configuration and unit-tests
Organize and lead the documentation and execution of integration and system tests
Organize and lead with the business stakeholders the user acceptance tests
Lead the completion of all build and test deliverables defined by the program
Migration and go-live
Organize and lead the documentation and execution of cut-over activities.
Organize and lead the update of training documents. Organize the training sessions.
Organize and lead the go-live support and Hypercare activities.
AMS
Organize and lead the transfer to AMS of his/her projects, in line with AMS entry criteria.
Main Interfaces/Relationships
Internal: Business global and local (Finance/SBS, Sales, Supply chain, Manufacturing ), DIGITAL partners and contributors (Application teams, DIGITAL TECH, Architecture, factories, AMS)
External: implementation partners, consulting firms, SAP
About you
Education:
Bachelor or master’s in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration
Professional Experience:
Atelast 10 years of demonstrated expereince in managing ERP projects using SAP S/4 Hana or ECC6 platforms for big multinational organizations.
Good understanding of business processes in finance, sales, supply chain and manufacturing preferably in a Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry
Demonstrated experience is managing diriversifed teams of SAP experts and consultants
Experinced in Agile/Scrum mehtodologies and good experience in Jira and Confluence is required
Very good stakeholder management and negotiation skils
Proven experience working in major IT consulting firms as Program delivery manager
• Very good skills using Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IT Management tools
