Our Team:

Sanofi Business Operations is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Global Hub strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, Globally.

Main responsibilities:

The developer will work on Tactical Simulation project. The objectives of this Tactical Simulation project are to identify quantitative impacts that a change in portfolio will generate on the platform’s workload & capacity up to service/skill level of granularity. At the end of the project, a web application will be delivered. Several uses cases have been identified and will be developed for the web application using several data sources coming from project planning, workload, and capacity.

The developer role regroups several responsibilities which can be summarized as below:

• Effectively communicates with developers to ensure optimal organization and application of programming best practices.
• Works in collaboration with stakeholders to clarify expectation on business case.
• Translates those requirements into actionable specifications.
• Designs webapp with code-based frameworks such as Python-Dash.
• Develops, test, and validate Python scripts with Dash web application framework.
• Creates meaningful data visualization that enable informed decision making.
• Performs all QCs prior to release.
• Ensures maintenance and documentation of program developed.

People:

Maintain effective relationship with internal peers and the end stakeholders. Liaise and coordinate with colleagues in global and local teams to understand their requirements. Co-ordinating and performing QC Activities

Performance:

Provide monitoring reports, verification reports as per agreed timelines and quality. Data Quality assessment: Identify abnormalities in the data monitored and develop report as per regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder:

Work closely with global teams to ensure the end-to-end effective project delivery on time.

Process:

The incumbent will collaborate with the tactical simulation team and with transversal team (e.g., BSM, digital team) to establish connection with data, software and webapp developed.

About you

• Experience:      
• >2 years of development in Python.
• Proven experience in web application development.
• Experience in a Pharma/Biotech company to understand overall R&D drug development.
• Experience in planning and capacity management for understanding requirements and work efficiently on the specifications would be a plus.

• Technical skills:

• Proven notions in Agile Methodology.
• Mastering development of webapp with code-based frameworks such as Python-Dash.
• Mastering of programming languages like Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model development.
• Attention to detail for trouble shooting issues and ensuring data accuracy in Data visualization.

•     Soft skills:

• Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills.
• Teamwork and transversal collaboration, strong networking skills.
• Rigor, quality mindset. Ability to identify problems and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) to collaborate and understand the requirements and expectations from the stakeholders and for presenting deliverables and recommendations to stakeholders. Pragmatism, agility, autonomy, adaptability, curiosity, culture of sharing.

• Education: Master degree or Engineer in Data Science, Informatics, Mathematics and/or Statistics
• Languages: Excellent knowledge in English and strong communication skills – written and spoken
