Regional Product Manager (Home Appliances)

Job Description

Position Summary

As a Regional Product Manager for Home Appliances CoE, you will support product and business management across allocated Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO) markets. You will leverage market, consumer, channel, and business insights to identify growth opportunities, develop product and channel strategies, and support new product launches.

Working closely with RHQ and subsidiary teams, you will analyse business performance, support portfolio and channel decisions, and drive effective execution across markets to contribute to revenue, profitability, market share, and operational performance.

Role and Responsibilities

Market & Business Analysis

• Develop a strong understanding of allocated markets through business data, consumer and channel insights, market research, and engagement with local teams.
• Analyse regular P&L and business performance reports to identify growth opportunities and key business insights, leveraging AI tools where relevant.
• Analyse key business performance indicators including revenue, profit, market share, portfolio mix, forecast accuracy, inventory targets, and aging inventory.

Product & Channel Strategy

• Support the development of the right product portfolio and channel strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Analyse company, competitor, and market dynamics to support product specifications and positioning.
• Identify relevant consumer insights and translate them into compelling product USPs.

Product Launch & Execution

• Drive the development of holistic local product launch plans, including target setting across key go-to-market (GTM) elements.
• Develop initial channel distribution plans across B2B, Online, Offline, Distributors, Operators, and other relevant channels.
• Define and monitor execution KPIs, such as display share, to support effective launch execution.

Reporting & Stakeholder Partnership

• Prepare relevant and effective reports and presentations for regional management, subsidiary management, and working teams, adapting communication to different audiences.
• Partner closely with RHQ cross-functional teams and subsidiary teams to align priorities and deliver business objectives.
• Identify and synthesize best practices and key business drivers across markets, and support their adoption by subsidiaries.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Home Appliances industry and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated years of experience within Product Management or a related commercial function.
• Strong Product Management experience, experience in Samsung’s local Product Management operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to translate business data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
• Results-oriented and disciplined, with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes.
• Agile and adaptable, with a can-do attitude in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively upwards, across teams, and with local stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities.
• Demonstrated motivation for career growth and development.
• Experience using AI tools for business analysis or productivity would be an advantage.
