Senior Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform semiconductor-engineering duties in furtherance of optimizing transitor performance and maximizing product yield, and improving quality and reliability for several products across several Customer accounts. Own Parametric Yield and Wafer Acceptance Electrical Test (WAT) management for one or more Customer Accounts or Products from New Product Introduction (NPI) Stage thru Mass Production. Interact directly with Foundry customers regarding parametric yield and device performance issues. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize Transistor performance and variation with end goal of improving Parametric Yield. Target Electrical Test (ET) trends to Customer/Product Specifications. Perform timely root cause study to shifts or abnormality.

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:
  •  Test and verification plan creation;
  •  Verification of unit-level blocks or full chip;
  •  Monitoring and debugging test failures;
  •  CPU architecture; and
  •  CPU microarchitecture..

Pay Transparency

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $154,860 and 174,860 per year. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
