This position oversees the SEA RB (Refurbish) operations, which include planning, process engineering, quality control, material management, 3PL management for more than 1.7 million (Vietnam 1.5M, SEA 0.2M) mobile devices annually.

Role and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization with leadership and vision, understand and utilize people and technology to improve overall operational performance.
  • Effective management skills on various vendors providing production line operation, quality inspection, and warehouse operation.
  • Collaborate with other teams and organization such as packaging, Admin, Customer Service, Sales, SCM and Logistics.
  • Communicate with the Vietnam factory (SEV) to control RB production and quality.
  • Providing refurbished products timely every week to the customer such as carriers and retailers to meet customers' delivery request date.
  • Understand and manage the overall process of RB from collection to repair and delivery to customers.
  • [Improving RB Provider] Approve a visiting schedule for each service partners and supervise to visit and improve the field.
  • [Supporting to solve issues] Direct to identify issues after visiting the field and to resolve the issue.
  • [Managing best practices] Approve best practices of a service center and supervise to increase operational efficiency by propagating them to other centers.
  • [Index management] Approve an index for each service center and direct to analyze why there is a weakness and to resolve the issue.
  • Deep knowledge of cost structure and experience in identifying opportunities for cost savings while managing operations efficiently.
  • Leading component parts Reclamation with HQ, SEV as wells as local vendors.
  • Participating in recruitment, training, and mentoring to lead the development of the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

Background and Experience:

  • Requires a minimum 14 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 12 years and a Master's degree, PhD a plus.
  • Concentrated degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, etc.
  • 8-10 years of executive experience leading managers across multiple departments and functions.
  • Requires bilingual (Korean and English) verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works on issues that impact the success of business or addresses future concepts, products or technologies
  • Creates formal networks with key decision-makers and may serve as an external spokesperson for the organization
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions may frequently involve special skills such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior-level leaders regarding significant matters to the organization
  • In charge of development, coaching, evaluating team members within the part
  • Working experience in a matrix organization of Fortune 500 companies; global working experience is a plus.
  • Ability to make decisions, direct, and measure individual/team performance.
