Field Test Engineer - Mobile Quality Assurance (Apps & Wallet)

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Mobile Quality Assurance team who will be responsible for quality assurance, automation scriptng, and testing of applications in Samsung phones.

Role and Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Conducting field tests for Samsung mobile products (including the below):
  • Performing Mobile Applications testing and ensuring compatibility across diverse devices & OS version
  • Scripting and automating of test tools for applications automation test
  • Performing UI/UX testing to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience.
  • Executing manual test cases focusing on functionality, usability and performance
  • Design, implement and maintain automated scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage
  • Execute and develop test cases for mobile payment processes and validate end-to-end payment transactions and identify potential defects & vulnerabilities in order to ensure security & accuracy.
  • Verifying local market requirements including language integrity, local operators prerequisites and local government regulations
• Reporting detected field issues along with detailed description for test environment/scenario and required logs to be analysed by R&D
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to drive a culture of quality throughout the development cycles
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance work efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant degree
• 2-3 years of experience in mobile wallet testing (including payment initiation, loyalty programs, etc.)
• Basic Knowledge about Payment gateways and mobile payment standards
• Experience in manual and automation testing/quality assurance for mobile applications
• High self-motivation and ability to work alone, managing own work and setting sensible priorities according to perceived requirements
• Arabic language is preferred
