Our product

Healthcare organizations use Sample to build custom software for their clinical teams. Defining a workflow in Sample produces a custom AI copilot to support the clinical team. These copilots don't just speed up work – they capture valuable ground-truth data that makes our models smarter over time. As providers start using Sample, they become part of a network which can support patients across their specialists and support clinical research. Our rapid growth – hitting Series A revenue metrics just 10 months from day 1 – shows we're onto something big.

The opportunity

We’re building a generational company. Deployed engineers are the lynchpin connecting our product with critical social infrastructure. As a founding member of the team, you’ll own three of the most critical areas at Sample:

1. Participating on the front lines of healthcare – using the Sample platform and your technical background to turn messy, high-stakes workflows into real results for large healthcare organizations

2. Owning customer relationships through complex integrations and organizational challenges to ensure AI is safely deployed within these organizations

3. Setting the direction for our platform through your direct experience and feedback to the platform engineering team

This role is ideal for someone excited about getting direct founder-like experience — owning customer relationships and identifying the real problems to solve. Few roles in a company come close to the Founder-level scope you’ll get as an Forward Deployed Engineer at Sample.
