Tech Project Manager

Saltmine is a B2B SaaS startup rebuilding the $300B workplace design industry from the ground up.  We are combining modern technology with deep industry expertise to transform the process of workplace strategy from programming to design & costing.

Within the past year, we’ve grown to 60 employees globally with offices in San Francisco, Washington DC, Singapore, Budapest & Vietnam - with an incredibly talented group of employees from the likes of Google, Autodesk, JLL, and Gensler. We are growing quickly and looking for talented professionals to join our team.  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating post-sales activities, particularly focusing on integrating third-party data and ensuring smooth project timelines with our customers.

This role requires close collaboration with the Customer Success team, operations team, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Customer Success team to understand customer requirements and project objectives.
2. Manage third-party data integration into our systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
3. Track project timelines and milestones, providing regular updates to customer success and internal stakeholders.
4. Work closely with the operations team to tag and map data correctly, ensuring seamless data flow.
5. Verify the accuracy and functionality of custom dashboards prepared for customers, ensuring they effectively consume the data.
6. Communicate effectively with the customer success team and customers (US timezone)
7. Utilize Excel/Google Sheets proficiently to analyze data and create reports as needed.
8. Access SFTP servers to retrieve and manage data securely.
9. Utilize BI tools and techniques to extract insights from data and improve project outcomes.
10. Automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. At least 5+ years of proven experience in technical project management, preferably in a customer-facing role.
3. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Comfortable working with data and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
6. Experience with ticketing systems, Jira, and Airtable.
7. Experience working with SFTP servers.
8. Familiarity with BI tools and techniques.
9. Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) are a plus.
10. Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
13. Positive attitude and a commitment to getting the job done.
