Lead - BI Data Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a dedicated “Lead - Business Intelligence/ BI Data Analyst” to play a variety of roles as an expert analyst, project leader, and occasional trainer in the Saltmine platform.  This individual will be a self-starter who is capable of owning their work while also being an integral member of our team, and at times, customers’ teams. Our Platform Support organization works directly with customers’ teams and projects to generate internal deliverables using Saltmine.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• They are leveraging expertise in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making within the organization.
• Led a team of data analysts to execute the data strategy and maintain the ecosystem.
• Regularly evaluate changes in the data industry and adopt the best practices regarding technology, governance, security, and compliance.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Write complex script & functions in an analytical tool.
• Understand business questions/pain points and alleviate them with supporting data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance policies. Conduct data quality checks and implement measures to maintain data integrity.
• Research advanced analytic/visualization capabilities to improve customer understanding of data insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally at various levels and diplomatically influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, change in business requirements, and self-prioritize under pressure.
• Debug data issues and deliver quality results under tight timelines.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with an emphasis on data analytics
• 2+ years experience as a lead in Data Analysis
• Should be ready to learn and take up the non-traditional design delivery approach with an expedition to be an out-runner and innovator
• Should be self-motivated, and able to manage a team as well as drive them towards excellence.
• Set clear team goals delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Experience in an online product company, outsourcing company or startup environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately in business and technical situations at all levels
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Efficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Excel/ Spreadsheet, Slides  & Doc)
• Experience with “Sisense” analytical tools is a must (AWS QuickSight, Google Looker  Studio, Power BI, etc. is a plus)
