Location: Remote - US

At Salesloft, our Sr. Revenue Systems Developer (Salesforce) will be pivotal to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Revenue Operations team and will lead generating, scoping, solutioning, and executing process and efficiency improvement efforts across revenue-focused systems. You will have a passionate, capable team supporting you.  

On a day-to-day basis, you ensure revenue systems, projects, initiatives, and processes drive meaningful outcomes for customers and internal teams. You seek to understand complex business challenges, work with the team to scope and develop solutions, partner to execute the technical work, and celebrate the impact! You work to protect the integrity of data and systems, fortify them for rapid scale, and drive innovation. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the pursuit of a simplified, lasting Revenue Systems architecture to withstand our growth
  • Collaborate with the Systems leaders on the strategic vision for technology solutions, driving continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to provide a best practice, leading-edge technology experience for our internal Lofters and customers
  • Drive an efficient requirements gathering, solution development process, and deliver tested solutions that exceed expectations 
  • Have the vision and experience to confidently deliver scalable solutions

To thrive in this role, you will need to develop strong relationships with Salesforce product owners and Revenue Systems team members. You will constantly be developing your skills - utilizing Salesforce and systems best practices, providing expert technical guidance for systems initiatives, and ensuring logical conversion of customer requirements and performance requirements into systems solutions.

The Revenue Operations team consists of team members that work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, People Ops, Finance, and IT creating systems to more efficiently prospect, forecast, close, onboard, and support customers. Team members conceptualize the strategic priorities for the company, develop plans for execution, execute plans cross-functionally, and operationalize executed strategies for continuous improvement.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5-7 years experience with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Systems Management, or Business Process Optimization
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification or Salesforce Developer Certification and 4+ years of administering and developing Salesforce
  • Demonstrated strong experience building custom Apex, Lightning Components, and complex Flow within Salesforce
  • Experience with custom system integrations (i.e. custom API, Workato, Tray.io, etc)
  • Deep knowledge and development experience with the Salesforce CPQ architecture
  • Familiarity with CPQ Multi-dimensional quoting architecture preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning development
  • Self-starting and focused on personal growth
  • Javascript experience preferred
  • Salesloft experience is a plus
  • Salesforce Service Cloud experience is a plus
  • CRM <> ERP integration experience is a plus

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend SalesLoft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our SalesLoft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team
  • Set your MOaT (Metrics, Objectives and Tactics) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet stakeholders in Strategy and Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing, Executives etc. - they will be key relationships for you
  • Become an expert in our CRM and all Lead to Renewals systems through training, self-study, and shadowing
  • Have a high-level understanding of all lead-to-revenue systems and how they interact

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Develop and execute process and efficiency improvement efforts across revenue-focused systems (i.e. Salesforce Workflows and Process migrated to Flows and/or code)
  • Manage roll-outs of all system changes and implementations into the CRM including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, training, and documentation
  • Begin day to day administration and support of the Salesforce instance to operate at peak performance 
  • Manage integration between Salesforce and ERP system to ensure accurate revenue reporting and billing
  • Become SME for Service Cloud custom development and enhancements

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce (objects, integrations, processes, workflow), our middleware platform, and any related systems
  • Develop and Deploy customized LWCs to each stakeholder group
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become a resource both internally and externally for anyone trying to understand how we have created a highly efficient Salesforce instance and lead-to-renewal tech stack
  • Lead execution of the roadmap for internal Salesforce development, and influence SalesLoft and Salesforce customer platform development

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
