Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Formulate, implement and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Java. Code in Javascript, HTML and CSS for front end development. Work closely with quality engineers, product management and Technical Operations. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suits. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves Salesforce.com. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Oracle; (2) AWS; (3) Developing scalable infrastructure; (4) Algorithm design and analysis; (5) Distributed computing and systems; (6) Computer communication networks; and (7) Computer security. Special skills may be gained through academic coursework or employment experience.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $215,197.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
