Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Java. Code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. Design, develop, and operate a large-scale data warehouse (hundreds of terabytes) used by customers and partners. Gather requirements, design and develop solutions including applications, reports, tools and processes, for various products such as audience builder and discover. Adhere to best practices in design, development, testing, and deployment.  Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) T-SQL; (2) SQL Server; (3) Oracle; (4) RESTful Services; (5) SOAP Services; (6) JQuery; (7) Java; and (8) JavaScript.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
