Mulesoft Developer - Senior Member of Technical Staff
Salesforce is looking for a Software Engineer (Senior Member of the Technical Staff) to join our growing Business Technology team. This is a key role in our BT Finance engineering team.
This is a hybrid role where one would spend time configuring, developing and testing Mulesoft integrations & API’s. In addition to Mulesoft expertise, the individual should have knowledge of manually testing and expertise to leverage automation tools.
You must have a solid background in Finance applications with hands-on experience on Mulesoft and a good understanding of industry best practices. You will be responsible for configuration, development and testing through all phases of the implementation lifecycle. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Mulesoft integrations / API’s to support our Finance applications, covering both functional and technical aspects.

• Closely work with the internal Mulesoft support teams and business users to understand the business requirements, including working with 3rd party integrators.

• Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers and business systems analysts.

• Build unit test automation that is effective, scalable and maintainable.

• Participate in and contribute to code reviews.

• Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.

• Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.
  Required Skills:

• 8+ years of implementation experience in Mulesoft Anypoint Technologies. 

• Working knowledge in finance domains and underlying data models (Ex: General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Assets, Banking and Settlement) and technology.

• Strong experience in SOA, REST, and web services

• Experience in Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Management, and CloudHub

• Good understanding of SOA and integration patterns

• Hands-on experience in integrating with FTP Servers and Amazon S3 bucket

• Design APIs in alignment with best practices and design standards

• Data mapping between different systems and data formats

• Development of APIs Complex Data Weave transformations, routing, expressions, and error handling.

• Great analytics expertise to troubleshoot issues and the ability to access and read logs on Splunk with queries

• Experience in defining test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution and defect reporting for Workday or any enterprise ERP Finance software applications.

• Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience.

Desired Skills

• Consulting with Architects and other leaders on API Implementations.

• Working with Architects to design solutions to Business problems using existing and new API functionality.

• Understanding Limitations and Opportunities of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and the existing implementations.

• Git branching, merging, committing, and pull requests

• HTTPS, SQL, MQ, Certificates, SSL, XML, JSON.

• Experience developing on Java or Force.com.

• Experience with Version Control, Code Collaboration, and Continuous Integration Systems – GIT
