Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Build new and exciting components in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency. Develop high-quality, production-ready code that millions of users of our cloud platform can use. Design, implement, and tune robust APIs and API framework-related features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment. Work in a Hybrid Engineering model and contribute to all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the features. Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment. Code review, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical guidance to the team (depending on the seniority level). *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Go; (2) Java; (3) REST; (4) AWS; (5) SQL (RDS/SQL Server); (6) No SQL (Dynamo); (7) Elasticsearch; (8) Redis; (9) Kafka; (10) Terraform; (11) Docker; (12) Kubernetes. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $190,486.00 - $216,700.00 per annum.
