Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Architect, design and develop software systems and services that handle high volume of requests with high availability. Direct engineers, architects and product owners to develop high quality products and services that meet business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology. Participate in and contribute to design discussions and code reviews. Mentor other engineers in their growth and development. Participate in setting the vision and strategy for Monitoring and Health of the VizqlServer. Set a high standard for software development and product quality, foster the adoption of best practices.  Take operational ownership of services and build a culture of operational excellence. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (2 years); (2) Modern C++ (2 years); (3) JavaScript; (4) Git; (5) OpenAI API; (6) gRPC; (7) VizqlServer; (8) Tableau; (9) Gradle; (10) UI; (11) Kubernetes; (12) Linux; (13) Windows server platforms; and (14) Bazel. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $160,700.00 - $243,100.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,700 to $243,100.
