The Role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our Partner Manager product, with a focus on advancing MuleSoft’s offerings in the B2B/EDI integration space. This role is pivotal in helping enterprises manage their partner ecosystems and streamline B2B operations by building world-class solutions for complex integration challenges.
As the Senior Product Manager, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for MuleSoft’s B2B and EDI solutions, driving innovation to meet customer needs and market demands. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams, as well as customers and partners, to ensure the delivery of impactful, scalable, and market-leading products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy:
Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Partner Manager product and B2B/EDI integration solutions.
Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities and ensure MuleSoft remains a leader in the space.
Customer-Centric Product Development:
Engage directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand their integration and partner management challenges.
Translate customer insights into product requirements and prioritize features that drive business value.
Execution and Delivery:
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions on schedule.
Define success metrics, monitor performance, and iterate on the product to improve adoption and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to position the product effectively in the market and drive go-to-market success.
Partner with technical architects and engineering leads to ensure the product meets MuleSoft’s quality and scalability standards.
B2B/EDI Expertise:
Bring or develop a deep understanding of the B2B/EDI ecosystem, including standards like X12, EDIFACT, AS2, and APIs for partner integrations.
Identify key use cases and ensure the product supports seamless integration with ERP systems, partner portals, and trading partners.
Qualifications:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on enterprise software, integration platforms, or B2B solutions.
Proven track record of managing complex products from conception to launch and beyond.
Domain Knowledge:
Expertise in B2B integration technologies, including EDI standards and protocols, partner ecosystem management, and API-driven integrations.
Understanding of enterprise IT systems such as ERP, CRM, and supply chain solutions is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior executives.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Technical Aptitude:
Familiarity with modern integration platforms, APIs, and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
Ability to engage with engineering teams on technical trade-offs and architectural decisions.
