Describe the roles and responsibilities (job description)
The AI App Dev Cloud is seeking an Engineering Leader to handle and guide the Lists Experience/Lists Platform teams. At the core of this team's responsibilities is Object Home, a fundamental component of the Lightning Experience (LEX). We are seeking an individual who possesses strong technical expertise, a dynamic and collaborative approach, and a profound dedication to engineering excellence and our diverse and expanding engineering community.  As a pivotal part of the Lists team, you will oversee a group of exceptional developers focused on constructing a versatile framework that empowers over 50 teams across multiple clouds, encompassing more than 200 customizations as well as additional features. Within this role, you will shape strategic initiatives and a visionary direction for high-impact features, which are central to our customers' experience, serving close to 13M Monthly Active Users(MAU).  This presents an unparalleled opportunity to shape essential Experience products by crafting and delivering robust, scalable, and enduring solutions.  Our roadmap for FY25/26 is poised to revolutionize data interaction within the Salesforce platform and redefine how customers engage with tasks through Einstein Assistant(AI). We are expanding the reach of our Lists/Related List components, moving beyond LEX, communities, and the Mobile App, and extending into 1Commerce and Slack integration.
Professional Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• At least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of web-based application technology.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Project Management Abilities:
• Confirmed expertise in personnel and project management.
• Critical thinking with the ability to develop and implement engineering strategies.
• Competence in leading project timelines and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with the capacity to identify and rectify minor errors.
Organizational Skills:
• Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
• Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
