The Salesforce Marketing Analytics Platforms team is at the forefront of leveraging data to drive decision-making within the organization. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced technical leader to head our data engineering efforts in Hyderabad. As a site-leader for our Hyderabad location, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented group of data engineers in developing and maintaining critical data products that fuel our marketing analytics and science initiatives. Responsibilities

• Hire, lead and mentor a team of data engineers to develop and maintain robust data products, including datasets, metrics, and feature sets.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

• Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

• Champion operational excellence within the team, implementing processes and procedures to ensure reliable and efficient data pipelines and workflows.

• Establish and maintain best practices for data engineering processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance regulations.

• Act as a site leader, foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that empowers team members to excel and grow in their careers.

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress and performance of the data engineering function.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 15+ years of experience is data engineering. 5+ years of managing managers and senior engineers.

• Extensive experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and scaling data products in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in data engineering technologies, including but not limited to data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration. 

• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively managing and mentoring a diverse team of data engineers.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions. The ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels in Salesforce is essential.

• A growth mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and methodologies. The ability to adapt to evolving business requirements and technological landscapes is critical in this fast-paced environment.

• Marketing domain experience is a plus.
