To ensure our customers can rapidly adopt these new innovations, our Product organization is hiring a Product Adoption Director for AI and Cross-Cloud

This individual will report directly to the Product Adoption Leader for our C360 and Industry Cloud portfolio, joining a team of cloud-aligned adoption product managers for over 20 products, and will be directly supported by our Adoption Analytics team, Trial Org Engineering Team, and Sales Demo org team.

This individual will bring a “Chief Adoption Officer” mindset, working as a trusted advisor to GMs and Product Leaders across Sales, Service, Commerce, and Industry Clouds, developing and driving strategies to build Ease of Adoption into every product release, ensuring our customers, partners, and internal teams can easily understand, try, and set up our latest strategic innovations in AI across our clouds.

This role includes regular preparation and presentation of readouts at the EVP+ level focused on adoption targets, forecast, and other data-driven insights, so a demonstrated ability to create and effectively present executive-level content is required. Developing this content includes close collaboration with Adoption Analysts, so this individual should also bring past experience evaluating, recommending, and forecasting organizational targets, and identifying trends in data to help inform data-driven strategies.

Although this is a strategic role, this individual will regularly need to get hands-on with the configuration and set-up of our latest AI innovations as part of assessing ease of adoption, so former hands-on experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect (or equivalent) is required, and a Salesforce AI certification is recommended.

Overall, success in this role will be measured by effectiveness in developing scalable best practices for driving adoption, influencing across stakeholders to drive buy-in, effectively driving adoption programs, and ultimately by the attainment of targets for increased customer adoption.

Here is what we need you to bring:

  • You are a skilled communicator, experienced in presenting to and collaborating with a broad range of senior and executive stakeholders in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Engineering, and Product Management.

  • You are outspoken and passionate, and do not hesitate to speak your mind - even to those in more senior roles - to advocate for recommended strategies, mitigate risks, or even voice difficult truths in the interest of ensuring successful adoption of your product.

  • You look forward to getting hands-on to configure new Salesforce features each release, and likely have recent experience configuring Salesforce (or similar) for real-world implementations, demos, or proof of concepts

  • You understand Product Management, the product development lifecycle, and have experience bringing new innovations to the market

  • You are passionate about ensuring customers see value from our products, and recognize the importance of rapid and successful adoption as a driver of faster growth and lower attrition for our cloud-based products.


Recommended Qualifications:

  • 15+ years experience influencing and advising senior leaders and decision makers as a consultant, Solution Engineer, Success Manager, or similar roles that show your ability to align functional leaders around a common vision.

  • 10+ years of Salesforce (or similar) implementation consulting, or equivalent experience that demonstrates prior hands-on technical depth as well as understanding of the challenges customers face in adopting new software innovation

  • 5+ years experience in outbound/inbound product management or sales engineering delivering SaaS/cloud solutions

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, including developing and delivering polished presentations for use at the EVP+ level

  • Ability to work independently across stakeholders to build consensus on novel or ambiguous challenges, iterating and adapting to re-frame and solve adoption challenges
