The Salesforce Public Sector Specialists Solutions Engineering team is a team of technology, industry and business process experts who are the partner for all public organizations. We support their transformation and help them modernize their processes in order to deliver on their missions to citizens and businesses.

This position is dedicated to supporting the North (DK, SE, NO, FI, NL) Public Sector and Education Marketing Cloud Sales team.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a leader in AI driven digital marketing automation across email, mobile, social and web. Presenting to audiences ranging from operational marketing and IT teams to C-Level executives and public servants, the ideal candidate must be motivated and capable of delivering memorable presentations and demonstrations while knowledgeably supporting the discussion of our marketing solutions to all levels of detail.


About the Requirements

Primary requirements

The candidate will ideally have the following competencies and experience:

  • Be fluent in English and one or more languages from the North territory  (DK, SE, NO, FI, NL or event French or German)

  • A proven track record of success – ideally a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (Solution Consultant, Consultant, Project Lead, ideally in the marketing technology area)

  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Certification is a plus)

  • Be able to work with an extended team to plan and implement upon a targeted engagement campaign

  • Having the curiosity and tenacity to undertake deep, relevant client discovery and to ensure that the resulting presentation and solution demonstration solves for the identified business challenges

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to teams, occasionally larger groups, CMOs and senior officers.

  • A passion for storytelling to bring customer engagements to life using impactful presentation and solution demonstration content

  • Having a results driven mentality to maximize the impact of all Marketing Cloud solution messaging in a language that resonates with the customer

  • Agility to thrive with change, and variety, often working across multiple concurrent customer engagements

  • Be an autonomous self-starter that is able to handle and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Be up to date of the latest trends in customer marketing, martech, customer experience and customer engagement

  • Have an appetite to innovate Salesforce solutions to drive improvements in both customer and colleague experience

  • Have a passion for continual personal development


Secondary requirements

It would be excellent, but not at all crucial, if the candidate has:

  • Be fluent in another language

  • Public Sector experience (central government, healthcare, transportation, etc.) or Education experience 

  • Hands on experience on Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Loyalty Management or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization

  • Relevant digital marketing qualifications or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency

  • Experience with product management or implementation
