We are seeking a Senior Program Manager of Global Engineering to join our Real Estate & Workplace Services team. The ideal candidate is an experienced project & MEP & sustainability professional, with a comprehensive understanding of the entire real estate lifecycle, from real estate strategy, transactions to project design & delivery through ongoing operations and facilities management. The Senior Program Manager of Global Engineering will report to the Vice President, Real Estate Project Design & Delivery.

About the Role:
As the Senior Program Manager of Global Engineering within the Real Estate & Workplace Services team at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the future of our global campus. Your primary focus will be on driving the REWS Climate Action Plan, managing technical MEPL design standards & guidelines, and promoting engineering and sustainability best practices across our global campus.

Your Impact:

  • Continue the development and implementation of the in-flight REWS Climate Action Plan, aligning with Salesforce’s overall sustainability goals.
  • Direct external design partners in updating Technical Global Design Standards/Guidelines to include: MEP, Lighting, Lighting Controls, Acoustics, BMS, leak detection, kitchen equipment
  • Ensure that operational aspects are considered in the development, updating and application of engineering standards/guidelines, through constant communications with regional Workplace Services facilities and engineering leads.
  • Collaborate with REWS teams and internal Sourcing teams to develop strategic partnerships with building technology systems suppliers to insure quality consistency and value
  • Coordinates between project delivery teams, external design partners, internal design, technology, sustainability, Workplace Services operations and facilities management teams to insure cohesive development and delivery of engineering aspects of design and construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project design & delivery teams and transaction teams during due diligence to ensure proper engineering evaluation of potential sites. Directing external engineering firms on process and salesforce specific requirements
    As part of a multi-functional effort, monitor and report on sustainability metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in green building and sustainability to keep Salesforce at the forefront of the industry.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and collaborators, including vendors, consultants, and environmental agencies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing large-scale sustainability and engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable building practices, LEED certification, and climate action planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multi-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Must exhibit initiative, self motivation and a strong desire to achieve results

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
