Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and learning the Product domain and Software and hence building the product development team you are required to lead for product software features/bugs end-to-end development and deployment. In this role, you will utilize your experience to mentor software developers, find technical gaps and build technical capability within the team.
- You’ll be responsible for interfacing with multiple stakeholders each with different disciplines and work in matrix organization.
- Responsible for Product software development team deliverables from requirements to final code delivery with required SW Quality.
- Learn Product Domain and Software to provide technical mentorship to teams.
- Expected to be proficient in programming and software development and managing teams of 7-15 developers.
- Given the requirement, expected to define functional specification, design specification, implementation & verification plan.
- Require strong communication skills to interact and influence stakeholders as you will need to interact with the end users of the products and applications engineering teams.
- He / She should be an expert in software development Life cycle and exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Expected to be good at problem-solving and debugging.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments and support team members to deliver on expectations.
- Lead teams to support organizational initiatives and generic issues.
- Involve in hiring and building a Taskforce for the team.
- As a project lead on the planning and tracking of deliverables.
- Ready to work in a Techno-managerial role with significant technical contribution from Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Should be playing a Lead/Management role with 6-10 years of experience in software development with exposures to Software Architecture, coding, bug fixing, maintenance, continuous integration releases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Should have worked on scalable products and have an exposure to AWS
- Should be experienced in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Redis
- Experience with Unix/Linux environment
- Experience working with databases like MySQL
- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins will be an added advantage
- Having worked on some Machine Learning products will be an advantage.
