Gen AI Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Research, fine-tune, and deploy state-of-the-art generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, DALL·E, StyleGAN, Stable Diffusion).
• Develop scalable infrastructure and pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring of GenAI models.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate generative capabilities into products.
• Stay current with academic and industry advances in generative AI and apply them to real-world applications.
• Optimize models for performance, latency, and cost across cloud and edge deployments.
• Contribute to ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation, transparency, and user safety.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of deep learning concepts, transformer architectures, and generative modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral), diffusion models, or GANs.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with MLops tools for model deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, HuggingFace, Weights & Biases).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LoRA/QLoRA techniques.
• Contributions to open-source GenAI projects or research papers.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and GPU/TPU acceleration.
• Knowledge of multi-modal models (text-to-image, image-to-text, etc.).
