Our Identity Security Cloud Team is looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer interested in mastering the world of Identity Governance. As you acquire knowledge of this critical and growing industry, you will employ that to influence the quality and direction of SailPoint products.
A successful QA Engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, experience creating extensive test cases, and ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards. We are looking for someone capable of driving several projects to completion from a QA perspective. Responsibilities include creation of test plans, manual testing of UI on web applications, and API contract testing.
You will:
  • Have 5 years of software testing experience, preferably having tested SaaS software.
  • Be a passionate learner of new technology.
  • Pay careful attention to detail.
  • Have the courage required to question design and implementation decisions, and when necessary, to stop the delivery of code while critical issues are resolved.
  • Gain knowledge in the Identity Governance domain, via hands-on learning and formal training sessions.
  • Be responsible for verifying the quality of features added or enhanced within the product, acting as a customer advocate to ensure that SailPoint offerings are well-designed and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and product managers to create comprehensive test plans for new features.
  • Be able to manage multiple testing initiatives spanning multiple teams.
  • Work with other QA team members to learn best practices for how to test SailPoint products.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing environments.
  • Be familiar with agile methodologies and be comfortable with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Have experience testing APIs with tools such as Postman.
  • Have excellent English communication skills.
  • Develop, promote, and maintain quality standards and quality control systems.

Preferred skills:
  • Experience testing SaaS applications.
  • Experience working with a distributed team.
  • Experience with accessibility testing.
