Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Claims Experience team)

The Claims Experience team is currently enhancing a platform that modernizes the end-to-end claims process for our stakeholders, and by joining our team of engineers, you will have the opportunity to tackle demanding challenges in a collaborative and fulfilling atmosphere. With the guidance and support of our talented designers and frontend engineers, you will contribute to the enhancement of existing products and the development of new features. What you’d be doing: 

• Use modern JavaScript tooling (React, Typescript, and an internal React component design system) to build and test components with the support of your team. 
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other engineers to build feature-rich user experiences. 
• Document and share your design decisions with your squad to identify any potential improvements. 
• Participate in peer programming and code reviews to improve the quality of your code and those on your team. 
• Using Formik and HTML forms with GraphQL, combined with Custom Design System Components to deliver a high-quality claims experience through our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline. 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• 5+ years of experience building applications with web technologies including the challenges of accessibility, browser compatibility and performance. 
• Experience with tools such as Yarn, Vite, Babel, NPM and Webpack 
• An understanding of agile teams and methodologies 
• Experience with React Hooks and React Testing Library 
• TypeScript expertise 
• Experience FE tracing, logging, and troubleshooting 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

• Experience in Insurtech or Fintech environments
